We knew instantly that anyone else seeing the car… I mean, quadricycle, for the first time, would think the same. The ‘This is not a car’ campaign was born. Allowing us to create lots of content and activities that cars wouldn’t do because it’s not a car. Like creating a stop-frame animated dancing Ami for TikTok. Dancing AMI - This is not a car from I AM IN HERE on Vimeo. We love working with influencers. In this iteration of ’This is not a car’, Laura Gill and Georgina Morgan were challenged not to mention the word car as they give us their first impressions of the Citroen Ami. The less time they mentioned the ‘C’ word, the better the restaurant. They ended up at a drive-through burger joint 😂 We had a load of fun making these films which is evident in the edits. As well as going out on Citroen channels, both Laura and Georgina loved the films so much that they posted all the edits to their socials. This means the average car is nearly 5 times more polluting than the equivalent train journey. Our brief was to bring these facts to life. We asked Britain’s most famous photographer David Bailey and nine of his namesakes to capture their interpretation of ‘speed’ using the NX300. Their photos were selected, signed, printed, and framed for an eBay auction like no other: ‘The Secret David Bailey Auction.' Beautiful snapshots of ‘speed’ went on sale without buyers knowing which one was shot by the famous David Bailey. We fuelled speculation and buzz through Samsung's digital channels: Facebook, Twitter, ebays front page, digital display etc... A huge debate blew up on Twitter and encouraged photography lovers to bid on the Bailey prints, knowing that there was a chance they could be picking a real David Bailey. We sent amazing 3D artist Laurie Rowan to work in the middle of nowhere, to show that power and performance is possible anywhere. Not only that, during the day he created a processor intensive animation on the ZBook, and asked viewers to count the number of creatures he’d created to a scene. Over 50,000 O2 customers registered for free tickets through the O2 Priority app in only one weekend. Upon arrival visitors were led through five ‘haunted’ rooms, each powered by a range of connected technology. All smart tech was controlled by O2 Gurus by phones and tablets to create a fun, frightening and unforgettable experience. As well as creating an experiential house, we created a huge amount of buzz and conversations across O2's social channels. We also created a wrap film which allowed people to experience the house from their sofas . The wrap film naturally led people through to four behind the scenes films allowing us to create super interesting product demos. And as if that wasn't enough we live streamed the whole experience and created bespoke films for Influencers, journalists and famous attendees so they could share their journey through the house.
